I'm not surprised!!!
I find January to be one of the most emotionally and physically challenging months.
With high expectations for the New Year, we often set personal goals and make some sizeable changes to our lifestyle.
It is also an incredibly busy time; which combined with all the expectations we place on ourselves for the above mentioned 'New Year, New You' goals, January can be quite 'full on' to say the least!
Many people have noted that I have not been posting on Facebook as frequently... indeed you are correct. You fabulous people are never far from my mind (seriously, I do mean NEVER!). I have just been busy.
After a crazy year of relocating our family to achieve a better quality of life, we finally found and moved into our new home over Christmas. So, I made the decision to stop juggling quite so much and I put a few metaphorical balls down.
I reprioritised my 'To Do' list and chose to focus on settling my family into our beautiful little home, whilst best serving my clients and my business.
It has been an interesting and challenging task -trying not to feel 'guilty' by what I am 'not' doing and to instead feel proud for finding the strength to scrutinise and select only the tasks which are truly important.
So I challenge you. With January nearly behind us, what tasks are toxifying your day to day routine? Be strong, be ruthless and find the inner strength to recognise when 'so much' is actually 'too much'!
